Sweater Wizard will enable you to design pullovers, cardigans and many other types of knitted garments, from small sizes right up to 114-inch chest size. The program's easy to use Windows style interface will provide you with all the features and options you need to customize. With this program you will be able to generate your own schematics using any gauge or style. For example, if you select a new project from the drop down menu, you will be prompted to make step-by-step selections from knitting features such as knitting methods like straight needles, stitches in the round or top down. You can then choose from the shoulder options, like drop shoulder, set-in, or raglan. Such neckline options as crew, boat, scoop and funnel, providing you with more style selections, are also available and you can also choose from a selection of neck trims. Finishing options include shapes like A-line, Standard and Hourglass, and you can choose to add buttonholes and change the size and yarn gauges to create a style you wish. Once you have made the choices that best suit your design, you can view the basic schematic graphic of your knitting pattern, you will also see the text instructions for knitting your garment. You can add ribbing at this stage, or alter the type of sleeves, or modify your neck shapes. The program also features a new Export Menu that allows you to move your finished pattern to a rich text format file or to Microsoft Word so that you could add your own notes or repeat instructions.
